This site is a contributory site and we decided to reward published funny bytes at the rate of US$0.005 for every word, with a minimum requirement of 50 words and up to a maximum of 200 words, i.e, maximum reward of US$1.00. That is, if you send in an anecdote of 100 words, and it is published, you will be rewarded 50 cents. A published funny tale of 200 words will get you a dollar. But, a yarn of 300 words will also get you only a buck. So, stay brief and terse and of course funny

Rules:

• You must register on Licked.in using a valid email address that can also receive PayPal payments. Registration is FREE.
• The funny bytes should be original. May be real or imaginary, but must be original and not published elsewhere on the world wide web.
• If you have something which is published in the print media but not on the world wide web AND the publisher of the print media permits you to publish it online, we will allow such articles with acknowledgment to the print media publisher.
• The minimum length has to be 50 words and the maximum that will be paid is for 200 words, even if the article is more than that.
• Please do a spelling and grammar check before you post.
• The article should include a grammatically valid sentence having a derivation of “Licked” or “Licked in” at least once.
• The reward for the published content will be sent through PayPal to the email address with which you registered on this site.
• The payments will be sent out at the end of every calendar month.
• We will inform you by email, if we would not publish your content and that content will be deleted from our systems.
• Content once published and paid for shall become the property of Licked.in. An author credit will of course, always be published with the article.
• We reserve the right to publish or reject submitted content and to modify any or all of the rules and terms of use of this site.
